Senior Project Manager

Job Description

We are working with our client, a residential developer, responsible for award winning and sustainability focused projects across the capital who are now seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the senior team on an 18-month fixed term contract basis. In this role you will focus on post practical completion stages of their projects where you can draw upon your knowledge and experience of UK construction and regulatory frameworks. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established developer in a critical role, supporting the most senior members of the management team. A selection of projects you will be working across will include the renowned Embassy Gardens, London City Island and Wardian London.

In this role you will be responsible for :

• Managing post-PC developments.
• Oversight of defect rectification process including management of the investigation process, understanding the roles of the responsible contractors, professional team and the managing agent, and pursuing legal recourse.
• Liaising and management of accountable contractors delivering remediation works.
• Problem solving when defect issues arise.
• Managing multiple stakeholders and multiple issues concurrently.
• Work closely with internal teams and partners.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, timelines, and risks; reporting regularly to the senior team.
