Senior Platform Engineer – Databricks

75,000- £95,000 + up to 10% bonus

Manchester / Newcastle – Remote with occasional client travel

We are working with a rapidly growing Databricks Consulting Partner who is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with proven experience in deploying Databricks on Azure and / or AWS to join their growing data engineering and platform delivery team.

You will be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining cloud-native data platform infrastructures, with a focus on enterprise-grade, scalable, and secure Databricks environments.

You will also be required to design and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for Databricks environments on Azure and AWS using Terraform modules and best practices. Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines for Databricks using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or other tools to automate environment creation, notebook deployment, and permissions management. Package and deploy Databricks solutions using Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB) and collaborate with platform, security, and data engineering teams to integrate Databricks within secure enterprise platforms.
