Service Technician - Milwaukee, WI

Job Summary :

Repairs, services, and maintains engine-driven generators and electric welding machines, ensuring a safe working environment. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned :

• Replaces defective parts and completes preventative maintenance.
• Orders parts as required for repairs.
• Inspects returned equipment for proper operation and damage.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Prepares and completes paperwork for machine repairs.
• Occasionally services equipment and customers off-site.
• Maintains communication with branch personnel.
• Advises customers on suitable equipment for their projects.
• Performs troubleshooting, calibrations on-site and off-site.
• Possesses knowledge of computers, welding processes, equipment setup, gases, and wires.
• Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
