CER are currently recruiting for an Educational Support Worker for an SEND School in Wirral. The school caters for children aged 9 to 18 who demonstrate a wide range of challenging behaviour and can be very demanding of time, attention and emotion.

The role is full time (Monday to Friday 8 : 30am till 3 : 30pm) and will be offered initially until December 2025 as it is covering a Maternity leave. The school have advised that they would be happy to consider part time applicants as long as they pocess the relevent experience.

Main Responsibilities :

• Support children aged 5 to 18 with Autsim, Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs
• Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students by facilitating and encouraging a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
• To contribute to raising standards of student's attainment and behaviour.
• Share and support the schools responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
• Promote school policies on behaviour.
• Support and implement strategies to manage behaviour.
• Employ strategies for behaviour management and report any problems.
• Report pupil's progress.

All candidates are required to hold an up to date Enhanced DBS Disclosure check, or be in a position to apply for one.
