Support Worker Opportunity – Day Service (Learning Disabilities) 🌟

Location : Wirral Evolutions Day Care Services

Hours : Monday to Friday, 10 : 00am – 2 : 00pm

Contract : 3-month initial contract with the possibility of extension

Do you want to make a real difference every day? We’re looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team, providing care and meaningful engagement to vulnerable adults of all ages with learning disabilities .

What You’ll Do :

  • Support service users in a safe, person-centred environment , promoting independence and dignity
  • Assist with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and social activities
  • Deliver engaging, creative sessions that encourage life and social skills
  • Build strong, professional relationships with individuals, families, and the wider care team
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive environment at our day service hub and in the local community

n About You :

  • A kind and empathetic nature, with strong communication skills
  • Experience in a care or support role (paid, voluntary or personal)
  • A genuine passion for supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities
  • Flexibility and reliability to work consistent daytime hours, Monday to Friday

    • n Desirable (but not essential) :

  • Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification
  • Experience with behaviours of concern or complex needs
