Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Location : Ealing, London Shifts : 4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights) Salary : £55,000 - £60,000 Looking for a New Challenge in Engineering? We're hiring a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background to support operations at a busy food manufacturing facility in Ealing, London. If you have a passion for automation, fault-finding, and keeping production lines running - and you hold a UK-recognised electrical qualification - we want to hear from you. The Role As a key player in our engineering team, you will support, maintain, and improve electrical and mechanical systems across automated production lines. Your focus will be on minimising downtime, improving efficiency, and ensuring the continuous, smooth operation of our plant. Key Responsibilities :

• Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repair of production machinery and control systems
• Supporting mechanical maintenance where required
• Reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of automation equipment
• Working proactively to reduce unplanned stoppages and boost production efficiency
• Active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For We're specifically interested in engineers with a strong electrical foundation and UK-recognised qualifications. Essential Criteria :
• Recognised UK Electrical Qualification : oMinimum : NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance oIf qualified overseas, you must have a UK Statement of Comparability
• Electrical Knowledge : oProficient in fault finding, wiring, control panels, sensors, relays, and motors oExperience with PLC systems, automation, and instrumentation is highly desirable
• Mechanical Competence : oBasic mechanical maintenance skills to support hybrid tasks
• Strong theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on skills
• Previous experience in food, FMCG, or high-speed manufacturing is advantageous Why Join Us?
