Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Programme Manager to join Suffolk Council's Drug & Alcohol Service on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Suffolk County Council’s Public Health & Communities Directorate is seeking a strategic and experienced Programme Manager to lead delivery of the local response to the Government’s 10-Year Drug Strategy. This role will be central to coordinating services, driving system improvements, and improving outcomes for people affected by substance misuse across Suffolk. Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee delivery of the Drug and Alcohol Community Treatment Contract and associated improvement plans
- Lead activity and partnership engagement in support of the national Drug Strategy through the Combatting Drugs Partnership
- Identify and implement evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes for individuals with alcohol and drug dependency
- Use local data, intelligence, and service feedback to inform priorities, commissioning decisions, and programme activity
- Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including NHS, voluntary sector, community safety, and public health teams
