Quantity Surveyor

Northampton

Salary up to £70,000 + Vehicle / Vehicle Allowance + Package

YOUR MAIN REPOSIBILIUES

Adherence to the ommercial strategy.
Compensation Events
Helping manage and develope Apprentice QS's and QS's
Managing a high volume workload of different sized projects
Preparation of sub-contract documents
Management of client and subcontractor accounts
Weekly review and analysis of programme, progress and cost monitoring.
Change control management.
Risk management.
Financial monitoring and reporting.
Project Forecasts with Operational teams
Detailed commercial analysis of various outputs.
Commercial support on tenders.
Submission of monthly application for payment

CANDIDATE PROFILE

A methodical thinker

To have previously looked after a team or helped develop Assistant / QS's

A background in civils projects (highways maintenance preference)

Strong NEC experience / understanding

Great at prioritising effectively, and able to deal with multiple responsibilities and deadlines

A strong communicator and able to build strong relationships with people at all levels

Great at managing your time effectively

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Degree qualified in quantity surveying, or commercial management accredited
