Project Surveyor – Property Refurbishment
Location : Hybrid / Travel Required / Driving Licence Essential
Hours : Full Time, Monday to Friday
Salary from £45k plus car allowance (driving licence essential)
Join Bright Horizons as a Project Manager in our Property, Capital Projects & Facilities Team, overseeing a portfolio of 285+ nurseries across the UK. You’ll lead 20–25 capital refurbishment projects annually (valued £25k–£300k), contributing to a £13m programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and scope works for nursery and garden refurbishments
- Draft tender documents, review contractor bids, and manage value engineering
- Lead project delivery from business case to completion, including contract administration (JCT Minor Works)
- Oversee budgets, valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Coordinate external consultants and manage building control, H&S, and asbestos processes
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders
