We are looking for a dedicated and driven Service Engineer to join our team. This role offers structured progression and a chance to make a real impact on both the business and the environment.

Job Description

As a Service Engineer, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

On-Site Maintenance : Conducting both preventative and corrective maintenance, including commissioning, upgrades, and refurbishments

Technical Support : Offering after-sales technical and commercial support to clients, and gathering feedback to assist in future product development

Customer Focus : Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, offering recommendations to enhance system reliability and productivity

Troubleshooting and Fault Finding : You’ll be hands-on, solving challenges to keep systems running smoothly

On-Call Flexibility : As you grow in the role, you'll join our ‘On-Call Rota’ to ensure our clients receive support when they need it most

Qualifications

Experience : Previous experience as a Service Engineer in the XXX market. Knowledge of water treatment or wastewater plants is desirable.

Qualifications : NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or similar or even working towards would be ideal but not essential.

Client-Facing Skills : Strong communication skills and experience engaging with clients, offering solutions and handling challenging conversations.

Time Management : Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.

Professionalism : A punctual, presentable individual who values customer satisfaction and strives to provide best-in-class service.

Driving Licence : A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
