We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Health and Safety Advisor to support all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) compliance across our operational site. Reporting to the EHS Manager, you’ll ensure legal and corporate requirements are met, the site remains audit-ready, and a positive safety culture is promoted. You will lead continuous improvement, maintain incident reporting systems, support performance planning, and contribute to EHS strategies that keep our people and environment safe.
What you’ll do :
- Promote a Zero Harm culture by encouraging safe behaviors and challenging unsafe practices.
- Attend and support EHS meetings at various levels to share best practices.
- Stay updated with legislation and standards, advising managers on compliance.
- Maintain and analyze EHS data, dashboards, and incident reports to identify improvements.
- Support EHS Committee activities, including managing meeting actions and documentation.
- Contribute to EHS improvements, including Safety Plans, training, and documentation.
- Assist with Change Management, Permits to Work, and contractor safety initiatives.
- Work with managers to improve risk assessments and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with Etex Standards.
- Represent EHS during audits, inspections, and visits.
- Manage contractor inductions and maintain the contractor register.
- Support incident investigations and audits, ensuring follow-up.
- Help in annual performance planning focusing on risks.
- Assist management in applying EHS policies and legislation.
- Participate in audits and project delivery from an EHS perspective.
What you’ll bring :
