Job Title : Qualified Social Worker – Older People Team

Location : Hertfordshire

Rate : £32 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join the busy team at a Hertfordshire based Older People Team.

Responsibilities :

You will take personal responsibility for continuing professional development and maintaining performance levels. You will manage your time effectively and respond flexibly to service needs. You will provide support and cover for the Team Manager and / or Principal Manager. Actively participating in the performance management system, including supervision, PAR, team meetings, and service reviews, will be part of your role. You will follow departmental health and safety procedures and develop skills through work experience in various divisional situations, such as secondments, job rotation, and shadowing. You will contribute to information management processes and support social work students on placement under the direction of the Principal or Practice Manager, acting as a workplace supervisor or Practice Teacher if appropriately trained. You will need to understand and integrate into practice the key policies of the council in relation to social care with children and families, especially multi-disciplinary working, integration, and whole family approaches.

Qualifications and Experiences :

You must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK driving licence, and have post-qualified experience. A degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required. You will carry out assessments and reviews in the community in line with the Care Act 2014 and provide professional recommendations of care and support needs.
