Working Patterns : Full-time and part-time hours available, covering a variation of shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Competitive salary : DHU Band 8b.0, £62,484 - £72,885 per annum (pro rata). DHU will acknowledge continued service pay within the scope of this role.
What your typical day looks like :
- Practicing autonomously across the four pillars of advanced practice : clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research.
- Utilising advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients requiring the clinical service.
- Recognising the need for, initiating, and interpreting relevant diagnostic investigations.
- Recognising the need for and initiating advice of relevant specialisms where appropriate.
- Exhibiting excellent communication skills when dealing with patients and carers, making clear decisions confidently and communicating effectively.
- Maintaining appropriate clinical records in line with current practice guidelines.
- Working within your skills and knowledge, recognising limitations and working within the bounds of your training and capability according to regulatory codes of conduct.
To be a successful Advanced Practitioner you’ll need :
Registered Adult Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Paramedic with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), or Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).Registered as an independent non-medical prescriber.Experience in autonomous practice working within a multi-professional team.Ability to complete a concise clinical history and physical examination.Employee benefits :
