We have an ever-growing Community Network of vegans who are passionate about volunteering and promoting veganism in their communities.
Each month, our Network selects from various outreach activities, such as town centre stalls, writing to councillors or MPs, sharing campaigns on social media, or contacting local businesses. You control how much or how little you participate.
We provide volunteers with leaflets, banners, and workshops to maximize their impact.
As a Vegan Society Advocate, you'll communicate with your local community about the benefits of a vegan lifestyle. You'll be part of a local group led by an Organiser who will coordinate efforts and relay feedback. You'll also gain access to our private Facebook group for socializing and idea sharing.
Your activities may include staffing stalls, giving talks at events, writing to newspapers, or lobbying MPs. Messaging topics vary monthly, focusing on increasing vegan options or sharing affordable vegan recipes to support cost-of-living initiatives.
Adhering to The Vegan Society's branding and messaging guidelines is essential. Your Organiser will provide resources and guidance. You can report issues or feedback to them or contact staff if needed.
