Psychology Teacher

Location : Hammersmith

A stimulating opportunity has arisen for an insightful Psychology Teacher to join a human-centred school in Hammersmith. The successful candidate will illuminate the intricate landscape of the human mind and behaviour, inspiring students to develop a profound critical understanding of psychological theories and their real-world applications. This role involves fostering empathy and equipping students with tools to understand themselves and the world around them.

The Role

The Psychology Teacher will :

  • Deliver engaging, analytical, and ethically rich lessons across Key Stages 3-5, covering diverse areas of psychology.
  • Guide students in understanding research methodologies, critically evaluating evidence, and applying psychological concepts.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of human development, mental health, and social interaction.
  • Contribute to departmental activities, including psychology clubs and academic discussions.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a qualified Psychology Teacher (QTS / QTLS or equivalent) who :

  • Possesses a strong passion for psychology and its scientific rigour.
  • Is an exceptional communicator, able to bridge academic theory with practical application.
  • Demonstrates a proven ability to foster critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and compassionate understanding.
