in Worcester, seeking a dedicated

SEND Teaching Assistant

to support a Key Stage 2 (KS2) student on a 1-1 basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a nurturing environment that values inclusion and support for students with special educational needs. This would be a long-term position starting ASAP and continuing until the end of the academic year.The responsibilities of the SEND Teaching Assistant role, include : Support a child with Autism and challenging behaviour on a 1-1 basis.Work closely with the

Class Teacher

and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.Assist with classroom activities and interventions aligned with the

National Curriculum .Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment in the

Primary School .Provide emotional and behavioural support to enhance student engagement.Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the child.Required Skills and Experience : Previous UK school experience as a

SEND Teaching Assistant

TA .Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism and challenging behaviour.A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance or equivalent.Strong understanding of Key Stage 2 (KS2) and the

National Curriculum .Ability to work collaboratively with the

Class Teacher

and wider school team.A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you other excellent benefits, including : £85.02 - £98.41

per day, which equates to

16,578.90 - £19,189.95

per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.The option of PAYE or Umbrella.Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot.Pension Contributions.Free KCSIE-compliant
