ESS Employment are recruiting a CNC Setter / Operator for an established Engineering company. Description

LOCATION : Yate area

START DATE : as soon as possible

PAY : £14.26 - £15.42 per hour including shift premium (£16.20 overtime)

PERMANENT

DAILY TIMES : 2-shift

Week 1 : 6am-2pm Mon-Thur, 6am-1pm Fri

Week 2 : 2pm-10.30pm Mon-Thur, 1pm-6pm Fri

Responsibilities

1.General machine operating or engineering experience would be advantageous.

2.Maintain all standards of Health and Safety Rules of the Company.

3.Maintain and observe all Health and Safety Rules that pertain to employee’s responsibilities.

4.Implement company requirements for the quality system, ISO : at all times.

5.Maintain good standards in the work place, keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe at all times.

6.Operate and feeding metal into various machinery as authorised in accordance with manufacturers operating instructions. Implementing all safe working methods and instructions.

7.Attend all meetings as required.

8.Clean workshop areas, empty waste containers, assisting with other duties as required.

9.Complete all time recording as necessary.

Personal Profile

10.Must have FANUC experience

11.Work alternating shift

12.Experience setting and operating CNC turning machines. Milling experience would also be advantageous.

13.Good written and verbal communication

14.Access to transport
