Cover Teacher

Location : Wareham

Salary : £120 - £150 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date : Immediate

Job Type : Part -time / Full-time

GSL Education are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated  Cover Teacher  to join a fantastic school in  Wareham ! This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, committed professional who wants to bring their teaching expertise to a supportive and dynamic learning environment. Responsibilities of a Cover Teacher :

  • Lead classroom lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Deliver engaging and structured lessons that follow the provided curriculum.
  • Foster a positive learning environment for students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Support students’ academic and personal development.

Requirements of a Cover Teacher :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in schools, ideally as a Cover Teacher or similar.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in different school environments.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
