About the Role :

We areseeking a motivated and dedicated Trainee HGV Technician to joinour team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with aLevel 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance (Level 2 as a minimum)who are looking to build a rewarding career in Heavy Goods Vehicle(HGV) maintenance and repair. As a Trainee HGV Technician, you willreceive comprehensive on-the-job training and support fromexperienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge inHGV systems.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Assistwith routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety ofHGVs.
  • Learn to diagnose and resolve mechanical,electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Support inconducting safety checks and ensuring compliance with all industryregulations.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools andequipment under the guidance of experiencedtechnicians.
  • Maintain accurate records of workperformed and parts used.
  • Develop anunderstanding of the operation of HGV systems andcomponents.
  • Adhere to health and safetystandards and company policies at alltimes.

Requirements :

  • Level 3 qualification inVehicle Maintenance or equivalent (Level 2 as a minimumrequirement).
  • Strong interest in vehiclemechanics, particularly in HGVs.
  • Willingness tolearn and adapt to new skills andtechnologies.
  • Ability to work bothindependently and as part of a team.
  • Goodcommunication and problem-solving skills.
  • Avalid driver’s license is desirable, with an interest in obtainingan HGV license (support may be provided by thecompany).
