Are you a dedicated English Instructor passionate about making a significant impact on students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? Our SEMH school in Southend-on-Sea is seeking a versatile and committed English Instructor to join our team starting in September 2024. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students in a nurturing and supportive environment.

About the Role :

As an English Instructor, you will :

Deliver engaging and tailored English lessons that meet the diverse needs of SEMH students.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Develop and implement personalised learning plans to address individual student needs.
Collaborate with other staff members to support students' overall development and well-being.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.

Qualifications and Experience :

The ideal candidate for the English Instructor role will have :

A strong background in teaching English, with relevant qualifications and experience.

Experience working with SEMH students or a willingness to undertake training in this area.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

A commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
