Internationally, they're making their mark with an expanding presence in India.As Finance Director, you will be responsible for the financial leadership of our client's company, supporting the CEO and Board with strategic financial direction and ensuring robust day-to-day financial management. This role blends high-level strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership, playing a key part in our ongoing transformation journey.Are you the right person for the job?Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Proven experience as a Finance Director or equivalent senior finance leader, ideally within a multi-entity, service-based groupStrategic thinker with a track record in financial planning, scenario modelling, and business partnering at the Board levelHands-on experience with statutory reporting, management accounts, financial control, and cash flow forecastingIn-depth knowledge of UK tax planning and compliance, with the ability to shape and lead Group-wide tax strategyExperience delivering finance transformation, including cloud-based system optimisation (e.g. Sage Intacct), automation, and reporting improvementsProven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, especially through periods of change and growthSkilled in working with external stakeholders (auditors, banks, advisors) and navigating complex group environmentsConfident and commercially aware communicator, able to influence non-financial stakeholders and support strategic decisionsWhat will your role look like?Lead the Group's long-term financial strategy, aligning with commercial objectives andgrowth targetsOversee all financial operations, including statutory accounts, management reporting, budgeting, and working capitalPartner with the Commercial Director to deliver accurate forecasting, performance analysis, and scenario planningDrive continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting processes, ensuring visibility, accuracy and efficiencyEmbed robust financial governance and risk management frameworks, protecting the business and supporting resilienceLead and develop the finance leadership team, creating a strong culture of accountability, development, and performanceEnsure readiness and excellence in external audit and financial compliance, liaising confidently with external stakeholdersLead and evolve a tax strategy that ensures compliance while identifying opportunities for optimisation across all our entitiesSupport the CEO and the Board with timely and insightful financial guidance to aid strategic decision-makingPlay a central role in the transformation and futureproofing of the finance function, ensuring it is agile, modern and aligned to our evolving needsWhat can you expect in return?Sales Growth Contribution SchemeGrowth Scheme Payment TermsFree on-site parking28 days + Official Public Holidays (for salaried staff only)CSP (at the discretion of your Line Manager)WFH Policy : Business case required for up to 2 days per week, in compliance with our WFH policyWorking Hours : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (or adjusted to meet role demands).
