Introduction - We are looking for a Senior SEN Caseworker to work with us in our SEN Team (Year to aged )

  • Do you have a good understanding of equal opportunities issues as they may impact on the job.
  • Excellent knowledge of Education and SEN law and processes.
  • The ability to complete complex processes efficiently and to a high standard within defined deadlines.
  • The ability to work in time-pressured environments using complex systems and excellent organisational skills to work to tight deadlines and in complex situations.

What’s the role?

To be part of a team of Senior SEN case officers and have responsibility for a specific allocation of pupils in receipt of EHCPs.

To secure appropriate placements and education for CYP with an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) so that no CYP is without education or training.

To ensure the LA meets its statutory obligations in response to EHCP annual reviews.

To be responsible for managing Educational Care Health Needs Assessments.

    Location

    The job is primarily based in Kaleidoscope,  Rushey Green, London SE JD but we operate a hybrid ( : , days in the office in line with the LA's current directive) approach where you will be required to work both in the office / settings and from home on a regular basis.
