Our UHNW family are seeking a highly experienced Private Chef with experience working in renowned or Michelin-star establishments, as well as private households, to prepare and cook dinner only.
Based in Kensington, this family of 6 enjoy healthy Mediterranean, Otto Lenghi style cuisines with freshly sourced ingredients, and require their Chef to have a passion for creativity and exceptional culinary standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Bespoke Culinary Services : Prepare and present high-quality, delicious, elegant, yet simple meals using seasonal ingredients tailored to the family's specific dietary preferences and needs
- Menu Planning : Collaborate with the family to design seasonal, healthy, and diverse menus that emphasise fresh, locally sourced, and organic ingredients. Flexibility to accommodate dietary restrictions, special requests, and diverse international cuisines
- Events and Entertaining : Assist in hosting and catering for private events, dinners and gatherings, ensuring flawless execution and attention to detail
- Travel : Occasionally travel with the family to various destinations. Ability to adapt to different environments while maintaining the highest culinary standards
- Inventory & Sourcing : Manage kitchen operations, including grocery shopping, inventory control, and sourcing premium ingredients from local and international suppliers
- Hygiene and Cleanliness : Maintain the kitchen’s cleanliness and ensure food safety and hygiene practices meet the highest standards
Requirements :
Experience : Proven experience as a Private Chef within a UHNW family, luxury yacht, or 5-star restaurant setting (direct experience with a family is highly preferred)Culinary Excellence : Michelin-level skills and the ability to prepare exquisite meals using high-quality ingredientsAdaptability : A willingness to adapt to the dynamic lifestyle of a tech entrepreneur family, with occasional international travel and the need for flexibilityDiscretion & Professionalism : Absolute discretion and professionalism are essential in all aspects of the rolePassion for Well-Being : A keen interest in preparing meals that promote health and well-being, using fresh, organic, and sustainably sourced ingredientsWorking Days : 5 days a week - Flexibility required
Working Hours : Dinner only (served at 5.30pm-6pm)
