Business Development ExecutiveBasic £35,000 OTE £42,000paSwansea (hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 remotely)Working for the world's largest cyber security training provider, you will be responsible for developing existing client relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities across a dedicated region.Main duties & responsibilities as a Business Development Executive :
- To nurture and develop new and existing client relationships.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with assigned accounts.
- Generate customer contracts annually, and on time, whilst introducing additional products to the customer.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to map accounts, distribute leads, qualify opportunities and provide sales support.
- Qualify incoming leads for given business area, regularly contacting them whilst ensuring renewals are implemented on time.
- Maintain accurate account, license, and contract records within the CRM system (Salesforce) and ongoing customer interaction through available data systems such as Tableau and internal dashboards.
- Monitor upcoming renewals, proactively identifying difficulties that could delay or impact the renewal and escalate when needed.
- Maximise expansion opportunities to generate additional revenue (upsell / cross-sell).
- Follow, understand, and translate the latest Cyber Security developments and trends.Key Skills required as a Business Development Executive include :
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Sales role preferably within renewals or working in a Corporate environment
- Self-motivated, tenacious and resilient in delivering business results and projects
- Ability to network and communicate at all levels both internally and externally
- Educated to a degree standard or equivalent
- Ability and desire to travel to events when required
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to plan, forecast and report against sales plan and targets
