Electrical CAD Designer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an

Electrical CAD Designer

to join a leading engineering team supporting a high-profile

platform management project . This role is integral to delivering cutting-edge electrical designs and drawings as part of a mission-critical initiative, supporting innovative engineering solutions.Responsibilities :

Produce

electrical schematics

using

AutoCAD Electrical .

Support the creation and management of

Bills of Materials (BOM) .

Provide technical support to the

Electrical Design Engineering

team.

Develop component libraries for schematic support.

Review electrical schematics to ensure compliance with relevant standards and internal CAD processes.

Maintain and update documents and drawings throughout development and production changes.

Support other engineering functions, particularly from a mechanical drawing perspective.

Manage configuration control throughout the full project lifecycle.

Raise and action

Change Notes (CN) .

Requirements : Strong experience in

Electrical CAD

with proficiency in

AutoCAD Electrical

or similar software.

In-depth understanding of relevant

industry standards .

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in handling

complex projects

under pressure.

Must be able to gain and maintain

UK Government security clearance (SC) .
