Location : Midlands Area (Remote)

As part of their continued growth they are seeking a talented Applications Engineer to join their dynamic and fieldbased Applications Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual ready to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive training to customers on the operation and programming of CNC machine tools ensuring safety and competency.
  • Manage projects professionally ensuring timely delivery adherence to engineering specifications and staying within budget while maintaining proper project documentation for full traceability.
  • Utilize the Field Service App to log daily tasks document progress and address any issues during visits.
  • Develop and maintain an indepth understanding of the product range and participate in training programs to stay updated on new control systems and machine models.
  • Travel across the UK and Ireland with the flexibility to work away from home during weekdays.

Candidate Requirements

Essential : Siemens programming experience.

Desirable :

  • Knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain controls 5axis machining centers and multitasking turning centers. Familiarity with Fusion 360 is advantageous.
  • Timeserved engineer with at least 5 years experience working with CNC turning and milling machine tools.
  • Recognized engineering qualification with an apprenticeship.
  • Residing in the Midlands area.
  • Strong communication skills professional demeanor and ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders.
