Quality Engineer

Due to continued growth, my client, an International engineering company based in North West Manchester are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join their existing Quality team on a permanent basis.As part of the Quality Engineering Team, candidates will be required to work with customers, supplier and internal staff to investigate and address NCR's raised.Candidates will also be required to manage the NCR Database and Calibration register.Interested candidates must be Time Served in a Mechanical Discipline with a demonstrable background within Quality Engineering with a broad understanding of manufacturing processes including Machining, Welding and Assembly. Knowledge of Castings / Valves would also be advantageous.This position is based on days and available for an immediate start.Hours - Mon - Fri (Apply online only)Role Description

• Evaluate and audit current suppliers on a regular basis and drive improvements
• Work with the suppliers in addressing any NCR’s using proven quality tools such as RCCM, 8D and FMEA.
• Work with customers on addressing any NCR’s or returns.
• Engage with key suppliers to incorporate PPAP for key products working with Quality and Purchasing to establish requirements.
• Work with internal teams on addressing any internal NCRs or quality issues.
• Work with Operations in supporting all aspects of the quality requirements.
