Location : Office-Based - Bellshill, Glasgow

Hours : Full-Time, 37.5 hrs per week, Flexible Hours

Salary : £40k - £50k (DOE)

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering solutions provider in Bellshill. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a company that delivers specialist electrical design, installation, and automation solutions to world-renowned whisky & spirits manufacturers across Scotland.

The Role :

As an Electrical Design Engineer , you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for automation and process control projects. You'll work across a variety of manufacturing environments, contributing to both large-scale projects and smaller system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities :

• Producing detailed electrical designs for control and automation systems
• Creating schematics, layouts, and panel designs using AutoCAD or EPLAN
• Specifying and selecting electrical components
• Ensuring designs meet relevant industry standards and safety regulations
• Supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time

Who We're Looking For :

Experience in :

Preferred Qualifications : Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK
