Interim Director of Marketing & Communications (B2B) Head of B2B Marketing Communications & Events (Maternity Cover) Group Head of Strategic Marketing & Communications (B2B)

Salary : 85000 to 100000 p / a dependent on experience

Plus access to annual bonus

Hours : Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

Hybrid role where the office is based in Hastings East Sussex (minimum of one visit per month to Hastings)

Join Medica a leading provider of diagnostic services as our interim Group Head of Marketing Events & Communications (B2B) where youll play a key role in shaping and delivering the marketing and communications strategy across our international operations in the UK Ireland and the US.

In this senior leadership role you will lead a talented crossfunctional team of nine across Marketing Events and Communications for both Medica and Educate by Medica our radiology CPD training division. With five direct reports youll drive internal and external communications brand and campaign development lead generation digital strategy and support commercial initiatives aligned to our wider business goals.

Youll work closely with the Group CEO country MDs and Commercial Heads contributing to strategic planning and . This is a handson commercially focused role requiring strong leadership stakeholder engagement and significant B2B marketing experience. Youll also play a critical part in supporting revenue growth campaign direction and market positioning with a particular focus on digital channels thought leadership events and overall content strategy.

What Youll Bring :

710 years B2B marketing experience including 34 years in a senior leadership role

Experience of managing cross functional teams of six or more

Proven track record in commercial marketing roles ideally supporting revenue generation

Excellent communication skills and comfortable engaging and liaising with executive stakeholders

Expertise in digital marketing platforms including website dev content strategy SEO paid advertising and events delivery and management

Strategic thinker with handson skills and commercial acumen

Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field; CIM qualification preferred

Healthcare sector experience a bonus but not essential

Job requirements

Commercial acumen : Experienced marketer with proven track record of delivery in a commercial revenue driven business

Strategic thinking : Ability to develop and implement longterm marketing strategies taking into account a wide range of factors across and related to the business

Deciding and initiating action : Takes initiative and is comfortable working with and giving direction to stakeholders and direct reports across the business in relation to marketing activity

Creativity : Innovative approach to marketing and problemsolving seeking opportunities for new ideas approaches and insight. Strong creative eye and experience developing creative copy with agencies and internal resource (media social / digital and creative)

Analytical skills : Strong ability to analyse data and make datadriven decisions to ensure marketing effectiveness including reporting on analytics

Collaboration : Ability to work effectively with and build strong crossfunctional relationships with departments across the Medica business

Significant leadership experience : Including direct line management experience and experience working with an executive team and reporting directly to them

International marketing / acquisition experience : Have previously worked with acquisition / takeover marketing and implemented marketing activity in international markets

Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word Teams Excel Outlook and PowerPoint

Ability to work confidently with little supervision but also recognise when to seek help support or clarification

Plan and control activities to meet objectives and align marketing strategy to the five year plan

Maintain productive working relationships

Manage workload effectively to meet customer deadlines and service standards

Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to Medicas performance targets and how to add value from a growth perspective

Yearly group budget development and management as well as adherence to budget.

Understand and demonstrate GDPR DPO & ICO rules and guidelines relating to customers and email marketing
