Driver Hire Huddersfield are on the lookout for 7.5t Drivers based here in Kirklees area - we are seeking 7.5t LGV Drivers Category C1 - to join us working alongside clients based throughout the Kirklees areas of Huddersfield, Brighouse, Holmfirth and Meltham. These roles are for temporary and ad-hoc bookings assisting Clients covering holiday and sickness and increase in business demands. The candidates must possess both a DQC CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.

Responsibilities :

• Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off.
• Ensure that the vehicle and its cargo get to their destination safely.
• Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.
• Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered.

These roles may also include non-driving duties such as loading and unloading the vehicle; therefore candidates should be comfortable with doing some lifting and a good demonstration of safe loading. This position would be perfect for someone who has a flexible approach to work and enjoys variety. Immediate starts are available following successful reference checks.
