Quality Inspector

We are looking for two Offshore Inspectors to work for our client.

Details :

Rotation : (21 / 21), 12-hour shifts

Location : Teesside & Offshore (Dogger Bank)

Start Date : 24th March 2025

Contract : 1 year+ Outside IR35

Rate : Open

Project : Offshore Wind

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct inspections of steel fabrication, welding, coatings, and electrical / mechanical installations

Ensure compliance with ISO, IEC, DNV and safety regulations

Oversee construction, installation, and commissioning of offshore substations

Identify non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions

Maintain quality records, conduct audits, and verify punch list closeouts

Key Requirements :

5+ years of offshore wind, oil & gas, or marine construction inspection experience

Expertise in welding, coatings, electrical, and mechanical inspections

Familiarity with offshore substation components (transformers, switchgear, HVAC)

Strong knowledge of ISO, DNV, and IEC standards

Excellent problem-solving and reporting skills

Certifications :

BOSIET / GWO (Offshore Survival Training) – Mandatory

CompEx / ATEX (Electrical installations in hazardous areas) – Preferred

IRCA QMS ISO 9001 (Lead Auditor) – Preferred

Must have the right to work in the UK
