Senior Project Manager

Actively recruiting for one of the leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractors operating throughout the UK and Ireland to join a well established team for a large scale Industrial scheme in North London.Requirements of the Senior Project Manager This role will involve being a Number one on site for a £55million steel frame scheme in North London. The right candidate will be up & coming, motivated and striving for career development. Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for;Understanding the contract requirements as per the tender documentation and understanding the key aspects of the project conditions of the contract. Good knowledge of tender pricing structure & strategy, including tender prelims allowance and develop a strategy of workDevelop effective and realistic procurement schedule in line with with the Quantity Surveyor. Lead the subcontractor procurement process and ensure subcontractors are appointed in time with programmeComplete regular commercial reviewsWork closely with the pre-construction team in order to develop the programme, construction methodology and logistical plans. Lead the on site team and ensure that all operatives are trained sufficiently and identify any training needsPoint of contact for the client and build a positive working relationship with the client.Ensure daily safety briefings and coordination meetings with subcontractors take placePossess a knowledge and compliance of all relevant H&S legislation as well as the company H&S Policy and individual role responsibilities.Ensure that the Project H&S File / O&M's / Building Manuals are produced and submitted in a timely mannerConfirm all specified quality standards are understood within the project team, supply chain and ensure they are delivered on site.Benefits to you Competitive salary33 days annual leave entitlementGenerous pension contributionsLife AssuranceApply here or for more information please contact Rebecca Giles on (url removed)
