Business Analyst – Foreign Government Advisory

250 - £400 per day (Inside IR35) - several opportunities available depending on YOE

Hybrid – London (2 days per week in-office)

9 month contract

We are looking for a confident, articulate Business Analyst to support high-profile foreign government advisory project.

This role offers hands-on exposure to reform, focusing on modernisation, process optimisation, and strategic advisory. This is a client-facing role, ideal for someone with strong communication skills who can think strategically and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Engage with foreign government clients, supporting process optimisation and reform.
  • Analyse existing operational processes, identifying efficiencies and innovation opportunities.
  • Conduct market benchmarking, comparing international best practices.
  • Support data analysis and reporting, helping shape policy recommendations.
  • Assist in evaluating procurement systems and technology solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Business Analyst / Consultant (consulting, procurement, or public sector transformation preferred). Note more senior BAs are encouraged.
  • Strong client engagement and communication skills – polished, professional, and comfortable with senior stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of procurement processes and tendering frameworks from previous projects is preferred. Exposure to politics / public sector is a plus.
  • Sharp, adaptable, and eager to learn in a high-impact advisory context.
