Finance Manager / Financial Controller

Job Description

I am recruting for a large Food Manufacturing business looking for a Finance Manager / Finance Controller. This is an incredible opportunity to join a growing business in a fast paced environment.

The overall objective of the role is to report financial data for the site in a timely accurate manner to enable key financial decisions and to directly oversee and support the Finance Team at site.

Responsibilities :

Responsible for the production of timely and accurate daily, weekly, and monthly site reports and P&L. This should be both internally at site and externally to the central finance function offsite, to enable key business decisions.

To produce flash forecasts and report of the site’s financial performance, including relevant KPIS.

Understand gross margins within the costings, along with product costings used by the Sales team.

To work closely and collaboratively with site management to ensure delivery of site profit and KPI targets.

Management and leadership of the finance control function within.

Proactively drive continuous improvement – Have a “can-do” attitude, particularly looking to challenge the status quo.

Preparation of regular and ad-hoc analysis, reporting and presentations for the FD, group and external stakeholders.

Closely monitor the site cashflow, including challenging payment terms.

Own the sites budgeting process, including but not limited to – Annual Budget, 3 Budget 6 and adhoc

reforecast request, including full P&L, Balance sheet and Cashflow packs.

Work closely with the commercial team to ensure that costs are sufficiently recovered, challenging and

working as a business partner, ensuring new launches and delists are correctly managed.

Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft office skills

Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ICAEW)
