The Role

As our Product Development Manager, you will be at the heart of our business, developing new experiences and  successfully bring concepts to market. From historical events, to paranormal, to groups and events, you'll ensure  that all new and existing products enhance the Bodmin Jail Attraction’s reputation as a must-visit destination.

Responsibilities include

  • Generate and develop new experience-based products for Bodmin Jail Attraction, from concept through to final delivery
  • Lead the development of immersive experiences, including interactive exhibits, seasonal events, and themed tours.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in heritage tourism, visitor engagement, and paranormal experiences
  • Develop strategies to enhance existing experiences, ensuring they reach their full commercial and engagement potential
  • Lead marketing initiatives, analysing visitor data and feedback to measure product success and optimize future offerings.

Develop detailed project plans, setting clear milestones, budgets, and timelines for each product launch or enhancement

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in product development, visitor experience design, or commercial innovation, ideally in the tourism, heritage, or attractions sector
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, audience segmentation, and campaign execution
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to take an idea from concept to final product
  • Ability to analyse visitor feedback, commercial performance, and market trends to drive product improvements
