Our client provides MAA Part 145 Aircraft support to the RAF A400M (Atlas) fleet.

Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to the following :
General Responsibility
As an Aircraft Fitter you will be responsible for Maintenance, Repairs and Modifications to the aircraft. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to : -
- Compliance with the organisational policies and procedures
- Identifying and rectifying existing and potential unsafe conditions
- Maintaining the work environment in a clean and safe manner using a _clean as you go” approach
- Complying with company Safety Management System (SMS) occurrence reporting procedures
- Complying with the safety policy
- Complete aircraft paperwork to a high standard
- An awareness of COSHH, Working at height and Manual handling safety requirements
- Actively embrace a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture
Essential Job Function
Responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft and safe use of ground equipmentCan accurately navigate and interpret aircraft maintenance documentation.Carry out aircraft modifications and light structural work if required.Candidate Essential Requirements
Must hold a valid aircraft standards-based qualification (Apprenticeship / NVQ level 3) or aircraft related academic qualification / traineeship with a minimum 3 years recorded experienceCurrent Human factor initial and refresher, EWIS and SFAR 88 certificateKnowledge of aeronautical regulationsMust have the right to live and work in the United KingdomFluency in English, both written and verbalBe able to successful complete MOD security clearanceDesirable Criteria
Experience on A400M, Propeller or Wide body AircraftPrevious exposure to AirN@v and AmosKnowledge of Military Aviation Authority (MAA) MRP Part 145 regulationsHave good communication skills, both verbally and written, and interpersonal skillsA proven ability to work as part of a teamBe able to work on their own initiative and demonstrate leadership skillsPossess proficient organisational skills and an ability to work in an efficient mannerIPAF / MEWP familiarisationTypical Working Conditions
Primarily based in Brize Norton however travel may be requiredShift will be 5x5x4-day shift, Night shift is also availablePPE is providedCompany Values

Hours : 5x5x4 shift approx. 40 hours per week with potential overtime to 19.00 for day shift or 19.00 to 07.00 for night shift
Pay : £30 ph umbrella and £23.24 PAYE
