Location : Letchworth Contract : Full-Time, 12 Months
Are you an AAT qualified Accountant looking for your next opportunity in a large, fast-paced organisation? We're hiring an Accountant to join our client in Letchworth on a 12-month fixed term contract . This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across accounting , HR support , and payroll processing .
Job Overview :
You will play a key role in supporting daily finance operations, assisting with HR administration, and managing payroll duties. You’ll work closely with both the finance and HR departments to ensure smooth and efficient processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist with general accounting duties , including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance
Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
Manage payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely employee payments
Provide HR administrative support , including maintaining employee records
Assist with internal audits, financial compliance, and process improvements
Skills &; Requirements :
AAT qualification (or equivalent in accounting)
Previous experience in an accounting role , ideally with exposure to payroll and HR admin
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
