Job Title : English and Maths KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor

Location : East of England, Essex, Canvey Island

Job Type : Temporary, Part-Time

Primary Industry : Education and Training

Salary : £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description : Job Duties :

Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting (learners home or local setting)
Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to individual learning styles and abilities
Create educational materials and resources to support students' progress and development
Monitor and assess students' academic performance and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure the educational needs of students are met

Required Qualifications :

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Knowledge of the Key Stage 3 curriculum for English and Maths

Experience :

At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring

Knowledge and Skills :

Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methodologies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

Working Conditions :

Part-time position with flexible hours

Work primarily in a learners home or local setting (library)

Collaboration with parents, teachers, and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
