Overview

The key role of a SocialChain Influencer Manager is to be responsible, efficient and creative across all touch points. They make the day-to-day happen, are on top of the detail, self-starting, solution orientated and manage their campaigns from start to finish.

The Influencer Manager will demonstrate expertise in social media and influencer management, and have an understanding of their client's business. They will have a knack for securing optimal commercial and creative agreements with Influencers, building their relationships across the industry. Constantly looking at both the short term and long term view of campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Looking at the horizon of up to 6 months and planning accordingly.
  • Managing the day-to-day running of your campaigns, staying close to internal timings and development. Be able to anticipate the next steps within the campaign ensuring all campaign milestones are met.
  • Owning the process; Influencer selection, outreach, negotiation, contracting, legal, production and reporting. Regularly updating the accounts team with the campaign status.
  • Contributing to strategic conversations with the Head of Department and Influencer Lead, translate the client feedback to the influencer approach and brief.
  • You will be familiar with your client’s business, being able to spot ongoing performance trends and take learnings.
  • You will have an understanding of the Scope Of Works, having total awareness of time allocation and campaign fees. Flagging risks and scope creep to the accounts team.
  • Identify and select suitable Influencers for each campaign, considering factors like brand alignment and audience reach and due diligence.
  • Reviewing Influencer due diligence run by the team and flagging any issues and recommendations to the client.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through excellent influencer recommendations and delivering campaigns in line and above expectations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a diverse network of influencers and Influencer agents.
  • Building the master influencer term sheet for Influencer Lead and Head of Influencer to sign-off against the agreed client terms.
  • Review and approve influencer content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, campaign objectives and the campaign brief.
  • Demonstrate commercial efficiencies and commitment to cost savings for client.
  • Monitor how the campaign is tracking against campaign performance, offering solutions if needed and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
  • Analyse influencer insights and present campaign results and learnings to clients and make strategic recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Develop a leadership style, both up and down. Nurturing junior team members and taking responsibility for their output and learning.
  • Managing upwards, keeping more senior members of the team always aware of campaign status.
  • Knowing the client's business so well that you are confident in challenging the agency or client’s strategic direction.

Experience :

  • 3+ years of relevant experience planning and executing Influencer campaigns.
  • Demonstrable experience delegating and prioritising an ever-changing workload.
  • Competent writing and communication skills, and the ability to spot creative excellence.
  • Able to work effectively and calmly under pressure
  • Understanding of Influencer Marketing and Social Metrics (Impressions / Reach / Engagements)
