Live-out Housekeeper

Our client is looking for a Live-out Housekeeper for a large 3-storey residence in St John's Wood.

The household consists of 5 people (parents, 2 teenage children, and grandmother). There are no pets.

Duties include :

• Housekeeping and laundry (which may include delicate materials) to a high standard
• The client is particularly keen for the candidate to have strong laundry skills as at times they will be required to wash delicate garments by hand
• They also have a range of materials such as marble, glass, and wood in the property so the Housekeeper has to be able to care for those

This is quite a labour-consuming role as the Housekeeper will need to go up and down steps, lift hoover etc, so the role will be most suitable for someone physically fit, patient, and resilient.

The candidate must have previous experience of working in such large high-end residences (so they are ready for the size of the house, volume of work, and range of materials to take care of, and have the right attitude and manner).

The family are looking for someone very gentle, very discreet, and respectful. They would not be interested in recruiting someone too bubbly, loud, or bossy. The candidate must be confident to work on their own initiative.

This position is a replacement for a current Housekeeper who is leaving for personal reasons.

Working days & hours : Monday – Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm

Start date : ASAP

Salary : £45,000 gross per year
