Job title : Principal Systems Engineer

Salary : Up tp £68,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing :

• Lead systems engineering activities on the right-hand side of the engineering lifecycle V-Model, with a particular focus on testing, integration and commissioning, i.e. identifying issues and working with the relevant engineering disciplines to resolve them
• Production of progress and quality reporting tools and metrics
• Act as the senior point of contact with customers and / or suppliers in assigned areas on engineering matters, to resolve complex problems and issues and to maintain awareness in both parties of priorities and objectives
• Provide help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working and their development
• Make engineering decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority
• Maintaining a level of SQEP for the role through personal and professional development
