A bit about the role
It’s an exciting time to join the Project Management Office (PMO) at the Scouts. The PMO supports portfolio, programme, and project management which will ultimately deliver our Skills for Life Strategy 2025. Our work helps to deliver our ambitious Skills for Life strategy, and together we are delivering projects which will helps to make a significant difference to over 150,000 volunteers and 400,000 young people across the UK who are members of the Scouts.
We are looking for someone who will work closely with our Safe Scouting Department to drive the prioritisation of work from our transformational programmes that need input from the Safe Scouting team to deliver the strategy.
The role will also work with the team to scope operational projects and large pieces of business as usual work within Safe Scouting, prioritising resources and planning out activities needed to reach the desired deliverables, outcomes and benefits. As part of working on operational projects, you will support the PMOs role as a centre of excellence by helping to review and make changes to resources as needed to best support users.
