CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY :   04 : 00 -12 : 00 / 13 : 00

13.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Little Hulton to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

This is a fantastic role offering opportunity for new pass Class 2 Drivers.

Rates of Pay :

  • Basic : £13.50 per hour

    • Day to Day Duties :

    Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to :

  • Delivery and Collection of linens, uniforms (Cage Delivery and collection)
  • Willingness to learn
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
  • Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed

    • Essential Skills :

    As a Class 2 Driver you will need to :

  • Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
  • New Pass Class 2 drivers are welcome
  • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
  • Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  • Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills

    • Desirable Experience :

  • Experience driving any commercial vehicles
  • Previous experience in multi drop deliveries

    • Training :

  • Two weeks Industry related training provided by the client and ongoing support throughout
