Role : Maintenance Engineer

Location : Somercotes

Salary : £47,000 inc shift

Contract : Permenant

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading medical device manufacturer based in Somercotes. The successful candidate will be required to work on a 3 shift pattern (AM / PM / Nights).

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineer

• Day to day maintenance of the facility and the “Planned Preventative Maintenance” system.
• Ensure at all times the plant is maintained to ensure safe and efficient and timely continued operation.
• Where required assist with the installation and implementation of capital projects.
• Adhere to relevant procedures and assist where required with the control of contractors involved with maintenance operations and capital projects whilst working at the facility
• Work as a team player within the engineering department and help with meeting all agreed objectives
• To be a responsible pro-active member of the Engineering team.
• Ensure that suitable and sufficient consultation takes place.
• Follow the requirements of permits and safe systems of work.
• Ensure that site housekeeping in sections within your control are maintained to the required standard.
