Overview

Senior Dependency and Recovery Coordinator In Your Corner Project

There is a recognised gap in the number of males aged 1830 accessing treatment with research suggesting that issues related to hypermasculinitymay be a contributing factor. As a result were offering a unique opportunity to become a Senior Dependency and Recovery Coordinator within the In Your Corner project an innovative programme addressing the negative attributes of masculinity.

This role aims to develop and deliver interventions that tackle these behaviours while increasing the appeal of services to this underrepresented group.

Location : Brighton & Crawley (Flexible travel required)

Full Time Hours : 37.5 hours per week

Full Time Salary Range : 32002..21 dependent on experience pro rata for part time

  • Please note : Fulltime hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For parttime roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Senior Worker you will :

  • Lead traumainformed strengthbased interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Engage participants in communitybased activities such as boxing gym sessions football gardening and art to promote connection and recovery.
  • Work flexibly across a large geographical area requiring adaptability and a creative approach to building trust and rapport.
  • Receive specialist training and use your expertise to train and support colleagues.
  • Promote and educate partners about the aims of the

    • hypermasculinity project and attend probation huddle meetings to Raise awareness promote engagement and share progress of the project

    This role requires a skilled and experienced professional who can assess group and individual dynamics responding in real time to ensure maximum impact and engagement.
