Location : Crawley, East Sussex

Position : Supply Primary Teacher

Salary : Competitive, depending on experience

Contract Type : Supply / Temporary

Start Date : Immediate

About the Role :

We are looking for passionate and flexible Supply Primary Teachers to work closely with a range of schools across Lewes. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated teachers to provide high-quality education, stepping in to cover staff absences and ensuring that pupils continue to thrive in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to primary-aged pupils in a range of schools.
  • Ensure smooth continuity of learning during teacher absences by following lesson plans and adapting to the needs of each class.
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, promoting good behavior and a love of learning.
  • Support children of varying abilities and backgrounds, ensuring inclusive education for all.
  • Collaborate with school staff to provide consistent and high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

Requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in new classroom environments.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being, with a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
