Job Description
I am delighted to be recruiting an Engineering & Technical Manager to join our client in driving engineering excellence and innovation in the Offshore Wind sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Establish, control, and maintain production standards for welding technology, process reliability and equipment performance
- Lead process innovation and development initiatives
- Reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) through continuous improvement principles
- Drive research, development, and innovation to enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure all processes and product handling meet safety standards
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain operational controls
- Lead and develop a team of production and welding engineers
- Manage change programs, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities for improvement in engineering tools and methodologies
