Junior Production Engineer

JOB- Junior Production Engineer LOCATION- Aylesford TERM- Permanent SALARY- £28,000 to £35,000 per annum (plus benefits) Premier Engineering is seeking a Junior Production Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company in Aylesford. This role is ideal for an ambitious engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in production processes, ERP / MRP systems, and process improvement within a fast-paced environment. The Junior Production Engineer will ideally have the following attributes :

• A degree or HND / HNC in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Experience or knowledge of ERP / MRP systems for production planning and inventory management
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, and fabrication techniques
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• A proactive approach with a keen interest in process improvement and lean manufacturing
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Awareness of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
