Job descriptionResponsible for the strict application of standardised processes in manufacturing / production processes across a broad scope including for example some basic maintenance processes The role will be working within a team on an assembly line, following the instructions of the team leaders and product diagrams. The successful individuals will be trained how to use safely power and hand tools, assembling various items meeting target for quality and productivity. Strong contributor to continuous improvement Glazing and some heavy lifting Demonstrate a number of competencies within relevant cells to support the changing needs of the customer. Apply procedures detailed within the appropriate assembly instructions and specifications Record issues affecting the daily short interval management Comply with the Quality , Environmental Management systems , health & safety policy and housekeeping 5S process Complete standard tests and inspection against quality standards Identify and express to the team leader any risks regarding health & safety, quality and environment, including all incidents and near misses Previous assembly and machine operating or manufacturing experience would be an advantage Ability to work in a fast paced environment Will always maintain a high standard of work with a good quality ethos Enthusiastic, positive and approachable manner. Good team player Computer literate Ability to read and understand work instructions and diagrams. After initial training on the day shift it is, with expectation, to be working on the night shift. Please note there is a great opportunity to go perm with the company. The Best Connection has an exciting opportunity for Assembly Operatives / Machine Operatives working with one of our clients based in Stafford Park, Telford with starting pay of £12.58ph.
We have below shifts available :
- Perm days - 06 : 00-18 : 00 on 4on 4off rota - the pay rate on this shifts is £12.58ph
- After 12 consecutive weeks company is offering production bonus and monthly time and attendance bonus of £100 per month ( if no absences within a period of time)
