  • Senior Manager – Digital Marketing (New Recordings)

    Join our team as a Digital Marketing Senior Manager, where you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing campaigns for a diverse roster of artists and projects. In this role, you'll collaborate directly with artists and their teams to effectively bring their brands and music to life on digital platforms. You will develop innovative social media strategies, establish creator marketing partnerships, and execute detailed, data-driven digital advertising campaigns while working closely with key digital platform partners. This position requires a balance of creativity and analytical skills, along with the flexibility to adapt strategies as needed. You will be an integral part of our global digital team, working in close alignment with colleagues in digital sales and streaming.

    Key Responsibilities.

  • Work closely with artists, managers and extended teams to proactively create and implement robust digital marketing strategies for artist roster, to engage with and grow audiences.
  • Digital marketing strategy to include (but is not limited to) : social media strategy & planning, creator & influencer partnerships, content planning, email database growth & communication, community building, creative digital executions, website build & maintenance.
  • Work closely with the insights team to gather digital health checks to analyse audience-related and performance data, creating meaningful reports that can inform artists & managers.
  • Integrate key learnings from other areas of artist career (touring data, streaming insights, brand affinity) to optimise and build audiences across the world.
  • Strategize & deliver artist database growth and CRM strategy, via traditional and developing means; email marketing, community-based platforms, messaging services, etc.
  • Be knowledgeable of paid marketing tools & strategies, liaising with Marketing Operations & external agencies to bring ad campaigns to life (Facebook Business Suite, TikTok Marketplace, Twitter Ads, YouTube Advertising / Google Ads).
  • Represent the BMG Frontline digital marketing team, building strong relationships with artist managers & community as a source of expertise and knowledge in the field.
  • Strategize and implement content planning across all core digital channels (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & new, relevant platforms as and when they emerge) for roster of artists.
  • Ideate beyond artist owned & operated channels in creative and innovative ways.
  • Work closely & collaboratively with internal team, content producers, creative directors, videographers / photographers, editors and designers to deliver planned content.
  • Maintain a database of creatives (as above) and regularly seek out new creatives to work with.
  • Self-edit / design content where necessary with tools available.
  • Develop and manage digital partner relationships alongside Sr Director Digital Marketing & DSP Sales team (Facebook / Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube / Google, Snapchat, Shazam, etc).
  • Create, pitch, implement and manage innovative marketing and content opportunities with all digital partners.
  • Actively seek out information on evolving digital / tech trends, crossover areas with other industries in the digital space (. AI, gaming, fitness) and platforms & offerings.
  • Your Profile.

  • You have experience in digital marketing & team management, preferably in the music industry.
  • Technical understanding of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X / Twitter, Snap, Facebook, etc.
  • You have experience managing social media campaigns and devising online advertising, with knowledge of Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads. You have run engaging and innovative creator partnerships, with a tangible impact on driving campaigns forward.
  • You understand the importance of building, nurturing and engaging with fan communities.
  • You are a creative thinker able to confidently manage an artist’s online presence and come up with exciting digital initiatives.
  • You are cutting edge and stay up to date with the latest trends and tech. You are practical and organized, familiar with music industry tools for analytics, smart-linking, advertising, social posting, etc.
  • Your time management skills allow you to meet deadlines easily.
  • Respectful, honest and confident communication skills, happy to work within a team and manage others.
  • Passion for, and a knowledge of, the music industry including being well versed in a variety of genres and up to date on music industry status quo.

  • Pay Range :

    45,000 - £50,000 annual compensation

    The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits as listed above.
